Local courier agents operate as monopolies. One shop in your area, one rate, take it or leave it. No receipt sometimes. No tracking link. After you pay — silence. You call to ask where your parcel is — "it's in transit, wait." You call again a week later — same answer. No visibility, no control, no recourse.
Sending medicines abroad is a nightmare.
A parent needs heart medication in the US. The medicine contains liquid — most couriers refuse it. The ones who accept have no understanding of CSB-IV compliance, drug controller licenses, or customs declarations. The parcel gets stuck at customs. Returned. Sometimes destroyed. Meanwhile, someone's parent is running out of medication.
Personal exports require business documents.
Want to send your daughter's wedding saree to Canada? Homemade sweets to your son in Australia? The system asks for an IEC code, a GST number, an AD code — documents designed for registered exporters, not for a mother sending a gift. India's export infrastructure was never built for individuals.

Two people who lived this problem
Two angles on the same broken system. They met on a train — and decided to fix it together.
Sangram saw it from behind the counter.
In 2019, Sangram Kesari Adhikary was working at a FedEx courier booking counter in Cuttack, Odisha. Every day, the same scene — a mother trying to send heart medication to her son in the US, rejected by three shops. A student sending university documents to the UK, told "maybe 15 days, maybe more." A father shipping a visa application with no tracking, no updates, just hope. After two years of watching people suffer, he quit his job, opened his own counter, and personally handled over 1,000 shipments — learning every broken piece of the system from the ground up.
Mohit saw it from the export side.
Mohit Bagri came from a different angle — years of hands-on experience in export clearance and international logistics through his company, Indian Ventures. He understood the regulatory maze that makes international shipping so painful for individuals — the IEC codes, the customs declarations, the compliance paperwork that was designed for businesses, not people. He knew exactly where the system broke down and what it would take to fix it at scale.
They met on a train. And decided to build.
In 2023, on the Jagriti Yatra — a 15-day train journey across India for entrepreneurs — Sangram and Mohit found each other. One had the ground-level experience of handling 1,000+ shipments. The other had the export clearance expertise to navigate international compliance.
They decided right there — on that train — to build the platform India deserved.
